(Pre-Class)

1. Print out printable on white cardstock

2. Cut out assorted colors of construction paper into various sizes and shapes that will fit in the blank part of the printable (mostly rectangles / triangles / squares)

3. Set out papers, shape cut outs, glue sticks, and markers / crayons

(During Class)

1. Give each child one of the backgrounds

2. Instruct them to use the cut out shapes and glue to design their own house on the brick side and then pile up shapes on the sand side

3. Use markers/crayons to add details onto the house and piles

4. Fold the whole thing over the dotted line so that it stands up

5. All done!
